Things you need to know before entering deeper into this site:
- I am the founder of a screendance production company, The Motion Dance Collective
- I currently work as a performer in the West End show of Stomp!
- I have been teaching, choreographing and studying dances of Hip Hop Culture for the past 6 years.
- I graduated with a 1st Class honours in BA Performing Arts at London Metropolitan University and since then, have used many of the contemporary choreographic techniques, learnt on the course, to create the work I make today.
I further my own practice, like many people, through working with other wonderful artists and it is this collaboration that I want to share with you. Through pictures and videos we can present the world we live on in fresh and innovative ways, yet, its important that we as creative people continue to theorise and present a deeper context to our work through not only these mediums but with writing. Following my experiences in the art forms of dance, film and screendance, I present to you my blog!
